My sweet little granddaughter, Lexi getting ready for our water balloon fight. We were testing out the Balloon Bonanza water balloon fillers I bought a while back. The girls enjoyed cooling off, even though the Balloon Bonanza was kind of a bust.
We have lots of big trees in our back yard and there is lots of shade. Lots of shade is a good thing on a hot Summer day, but it can be hell on a learning photographer at midday. Most of the photos I took were adorable shots, but some had harsh shadows and the lighting was a little off. I had to keep fussing with the exposure, but the day will come when all of this will be much easier for me.
